THEN & NOW
Public Interest Law Foundation's
25th Anniversary Auction
Saturday, March 3, 2018
Doors open at 5:45 P.M.
Grand Hyatt, Seattle
With your help, our 2017 fundraiser brought in over 390 guests and 12 sponsors, and raised enough money to fund 20 full-time summer grants. PILF summer grants support students working unpaid legal positions with public interest law firms such as Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, Columbia Legal Services, and the King County Office of Public Defense. This experiential learning opportunity would not otherwise be possible for many students, and helps to fill unmet need in the access to justice community. We hope you will be apart of this mission, and help us reach our goal of funding 25 full-time grants in 2018!

The Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF) is a student-led organization committed to increasing awareness of the rewards, challenges, opportunities, and needs in public interest law. Over the past two decades, PILF has created and supported a number of programs that enable students to explore and engage in public interest careers, such as the law school's Loan Repayment Assistance Program, job shadowing and networking events like the Evening with Equal Justice, and the PILF Summer Grant Program. PILF also engages in major fundraising efforts through its Fall Pledge Drive and its Spring Auction and Event in support of the Summer Grant Program.
