Inaugural PILF Endowment Partner - Thursday, February 5, 2015

The generosity of Christensen O’Connor Johnson Kindness PLLC (COJK) has enabled Seattle University School of Law to create a PILF Endowment Fund. The fund will ensure that both current and future students can continue to make an impact as powerful advocates for justice. COJK, a Seattle-based intellectual property law firm, is the first law firm to participate in the Fund, and we are grateful for its visionary leadership.

PILF Spring Event & Auction

Saturday, February 7, 2015

Campion Ballroom, Seattle University

The Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF) works to increase awareness of the rewards, challenges, opportunities, and needs in public interest law. Over the past two decades, PILF has created and supported a number of programs that enable students to explore and engage in public interest careers, such as the law school’s Loan Repayment Assistance Program, job shadowing and networking events, and PILF’s Public Interest Summer Grant Program.

The Spring Event & Auction is PILF’s signature event. This is a celebration and fundraiser for the Summer Grant Program, which provides funding to Seattle University School of Law students who seek to work in summer jobs at nonprofit or public agencies that offer little to no pay. Engaging in activities such as these increases the likelihood that students will pursue social justice endeavors, as shown by the many grantees who have gone onto careers in public interest as public defenders, legal aid attorneys, and nonprofit leaders.

Please select an option from the right to make a cash donation to PILF, to donate an item to the 2015 auction, or to view information about past Summer Grant recipients.
